Updated: Jul 5

Winter has finally arrived in Perth! But it can't stop us from rugging up and heading out to see what's happening.

Lets take a look at some interesting events you can attend with family, friends or supports.

Lightscape @ Kings Park

The cold may be upon us but Kings Park and the Botanic Garden have a trail for you to follow packed with lighting installations.

There is something magical about wandering and experiencing sound and lights combining to bring us this very unique experience.

If you haven't captured it yet, please head to Ticketek to secure your place. The event runs from the 7th of June to July 28th.

Reminder that this a ticketed event and the word is out that it is worth the price of admission of $58, just remember your companion card enables your chosen person free entry.

Have you heard about the Strange Festival?

If not you haven't got long to get in and see it.

It opened in Perth on the 14th June and runs until 23rd. So you have this weekend!

Get those coats, gloves and scarves on and head into the City. The event showcases over 30 visual artists. There is sculpture, projections, video, soundscapes.

You may have already seen "Synapse" on the TV - the giant human eye at Elizabeth Quay.
