OUR STORY
From music stages
to changing lives
District 360 began with a love of music and a belief that joy is something everyone deserves — regardless of ability. This is the story of how that belief became a mission.

WHERE IT ALL BEGAN
Born in Vietnam
Built for Perth
District 360 started as a small music company in Vietnam, celebrating the connection and joy that music brings to people. Over the years, that passion for entertainment grew into something bigger, producing large-scale events including Disney Live, the Ho Tram Golf Tournament, and major music festivals.
But in 2017, our founder Tanya returned to Australia with a new vision. After working in the disability sector across central and rural Western Australia, she saw something that stayed with her: people with disabilities deserved more opportunities for joy, connection, and meaningful experiences.
That insight changed everything. In 2019, District 360 was reborn — this time as a registered NDIS provider in Perth, merging Tanya's love of music with her deep commitment to the disability community.

MEET OUR FOUNDER

Tanya Johnston
Founder & Strategic Director, District 360
"My mission is simple — to bring joy and passion to the disability sector, and ensure everyone has the chance to pursue their dreams."
Tanya's journey is one of resilience and purpose. Born in Australia to a migrant parent, she faced hardship early — becoming homeless as a teenager. At 18, she started her corporate career and rose quickly, eventually spending a decade in Vietnam leading HR operations for Nielsen across more than 1,100 employees throughout Southeast Asia.
In 2012, she made a bold pivot — leaving corporate life to launch an entertainment company, promoting Disney Live twice in Vietnam, organising Charity Polo Cups with Royal Families, and managing local artists under Universal Music. Large-scale impact with grassroots heart.
Back in Australia, Tanya turned her sights to the disability sector — first helping providers register under the NDIS, then stepping into a State Relationship Manager role. In 2019, with a government grant and deep conviction, she founded District 360. While no longer in day-to-day operations, she remains the values and vision behind everything we do
