Kings Park and Botanic Gardens have a FREE event coming up from the 4th - 7th October 2024.
The event runs from 7pm-10.30pm and goes for around 45mins.
What is the "Tree's Speak"?
It returns to Kings Park to mark the regrowth and renewal of the Kambarang Season. With the Noongar Seasons divided into six distinct times of the year. Kambarang is marked by the yellow of the the wattle and the true start of wildflower season here in WA. Its a time of the earth beginning to warm again, sunshine and the birth of birds, animals and flowers.
Start your journey in the evening through a tunnel along Fraser Avenue into the park, there is light projections through the trees, animations, sound and spoken work and song. It is a spectacular wonder that shouldn't be missed.
