NDIS Group Programs in Perth — Connect, Grow, and Thrive with District 360
For many NDIS participants, one of the most meaningful parts of their journey is the sense of community and connection that comes from being part of a group. Whether it is developing new skills, exploring new interests, or simply spending time with others who share similar experiences, group programs offer something that individual supports cannot replicate — belonging.
At District 360, our NDIS group programs in Perth are designed to help participants engage with life more fully. We believe that social connection, shared experiences, and active participation in the community are just as important as the practical day-to-day supports your plan provides. Our programs bring people together in a safe, supported, and fun environment where everyone is welcomed and valued.
What Are NDIS Group Programs?
NDIS group programs, sometimes known as group-based activities or community participation supports, are structured activities funded under your NDIS plan. They are typically funded through the Social, Community, Civic, and Economic Participation (Core Supports) category of your plan.
Group programs can include a wide range of activities: social outings, art and craft sessions, fitness and movement groups, cooking classes, life skills workshops, and more. The key is that they are delivered in a group setting, allowing participants to interact with peers, build relationships, and develop skills together.
These programs are available to NDIS participants of all ages and abilities. Whether you are newly on the NDIS or have been a participant for years, group programs can complement your existing supports and help you get more out of your plan.
Why Group Programs Matter
Research consistently shows that social isolation is one of the most significant challenges faced by people living with disability. Feelings of loneliness can have a serious impact on mental health, wellbeing, and overall quality of life. Group programs directly address this by creating regular opportunities for connection and engagement.
Beyond the social benefits, group programs also help participants build practical life skills and confidence, establish meaningful routine and structure, connect with the broader community, and simply enjoy the pleasure of spending time with others.
