About the Role
As a Disability and Mental Health Support Worker at District 360, you will deliver direct support to NDIS participants. Your role will involve assisting individuals with daily routines, supporting social inclusion, and encouraging independence. This role is casual with flexible scheduling options and the opportunity to truly make a difference.
Responsibilities include:
• Providing personal care and daily living support
• Supporting participants with general cleaning and maintaining a safe, hygienic environment
• Assisting in community and recreational activities
• Implementing care plans in collaboration with allied health teams
• Advocating for and upholding participant choice, dignity, and rights
Salary regular day: Starting ranges from $34.48 to $39.68 dependent on experience.
Requirements
NDIS Worker Screening Check (mandatory)
Driver’s licence and access to a personal vehicle
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Lived experience or strong passion for human rights
Flexibility to work varied shifts: morning, day, afternoon, on-call, and fixed shifts Monday to Sunday
