Sonam Yeshi
Service Facilitator
Sonam brings an enthralling blend of experience working in the fields of governance, public policy, human capital management, and social service. Sonam previously worked for the Civil Service Head Office in Bhutan, managing the needs, plans, and priorities of over 30000 employees. Notably, Sonam also worked for Temasek Foundation in Singapore, the NGO dealing with human and community development initiatives. Growing up in one of the far-flung communities in the eastern Himalayas, Sonam embraced the need to stand up for social inclusion, equality, welfare, and transformation.
At District360, Sonam leads the service department, reporting directly to the General Manager and CEO. Sonam oversees participants’ NDIS plan & budget monitoring including intakes, staff recruitment approval, roster planning and monitoring, staff performance evaluation and coaching, stakeholder communication, and incident management, including policy regulation and enforcement.
Sonam firmly believes in seeing the world through the lens of our differently abled members of the society, listening to their stories, and facilitating them unleashing their potential to live a life of their own dream through empowerment, enrichment, and engagement. Sonam loves music, storytelling, meditation, driving, exploring historic sites and experiencing multiculturalism. Of all, Sonam is fond of delving into psychology, philosophy, and anthropology. Sonam holds a Bachelor of Journalism and Mass Communication, a PG Diploma in Public Administration and a Master in Business in HR management.
